Museum Display Cases

At Hope Framing we build elegant museum display cases. Having built scale, wooden models of historic ships, we understand the importance of preserving and protecting such family heirlooms. Our cases are custom built to the inside dimensions requested. All side and top edges are high-lighted with mitered brass. The base is covered with a rich fabric, suede or leather mat from the selection of Crescent's Moorman Boards. Finally, the outside of the base is trimmed with a quality frame moulding of your choice. Our Framing from Away Service has been very popular in selecting fabric board and moulding selections (refer to link at the left).

We do sell the brass edged acrylic case without a base, for those who wish to build their own base or who have a shelf requiring only a protective case as shown to the right.

For safety, all of our museum display cases are constructed of the highest quality acrylic available in the framing industry today. For exceptional strength, all acrylic seams are chemically welded prior to the attachment of the mitered brass angle. If UV protection is required, we offer acrylic with a 99% UV protection rating.

The entire case is designed to lift off of its base, allowing for easy placement within of delicate item(s). If required, special mounts can be supported through the bottom of the display case's base. These display cases are well-suited for fine models, art sculptures, rare dolls, historical objects, displays of rare documents, books, etc.
